Privacy first

1. It works offline

Textigo does not upload your messages to check them. Detection happens directly on your phone and does not require an internet connection.

2. Textigo cannot open your inbox

Textigo only sees SMS messages that arrive while it is installed and has permission to receive them. It does not read your old messages or your existing inbox.

It never asks for your contacts, location, camera, microphone, call logs or advertising ID.

3. There is no account

No email address, no password, no phone number. The first time you open Textigo it creates an identity for that installation and a nickname derived from it, such as QuietCreek0417.

It identifies an installation, not a named person.

4. Nothing is reported unless you tap report

Textigo keeps your messages private and does not send them anywhere on its own. Your messages stay on your phone unless you personally choose to report one.

When you report a message, only the text of that specific message, your selected label (clean or malicious), and the detection model version are sent. We do not receive the sender, your phone number, or any of your other messages.

Because the message itself may contain details such as a name, account number, reference number, or amount, we recommend reviewing it before you choose to report it.

5. What stays on your phone is encrypted, and it does not stay long

Messages and their results are stored encrypted on your phone. Textigo keeps at most 100 recent messages and deletes them after 7 days.

Clearing the app's data or uninstalling it removes them straight away.

6. No ads, no analytics, no tracking

Textigo contains no advertising, analytics, social-login or tracking components, and nothing is sold, rented or shared for advertising, marketing or profiling.
